Can’t understand the difference between a regular 35mm and a SLR Camera?? Which will take better pic’s. I am looking for either one that is best for my wedding that is coming up less than a month.

February 25th, 2010 So I’m planning on taking photography in my school in spring of next year and they require a 35-mm camera with f-stop and shutter controls.
Does a Nikon D90 or Nikon D5000 have that? Orr any sort of digital slr camera?
Please help, I’m planning to make a purchase soon.

Will My Manual Lenses From My Old 35mm Non-working Camera Work On A Digital Slr Body Camera?
February 23rd, 2010 I have three great working manual lenses from my old Sears SLR 35MM camera. These lenses are Pentex K mount. Will they work on a digital SLR camera body as long as it is also a K mount digital camera.
